Objective: To Provide our Customers with Our Best, from bidding, building and everything in between. I want an End Result that not only looks Great but also Feels Great the Whole Way Through.

Experience: Started working in the trade during the summer while still in high school. After graduation I spent the next several years working full-time for two local contractors. In 1998 I started W.B. Builders, Inc. and spent the next several years with my nose to the grind stone working each job with a few employees. Now that we have several more employees my time is spent more on managing our numerous projects.

Favorite Part of My Job: The Creative side, taking a Client’s Vision and making sure it becomes all they Imagined or Even Better.

Bucket List “To Do”: Moose Hunt in Alaska

Experience: Earned, no prior business experience before W.B. Builders. Been with the business pretty much since the start, so the process of learning has been a long one and it continues daily. Gray hairs and wrinkles are just some of the proof of lessons learned.

Favorite Part of My Job: Witnessing the excitement a client has when they see each milestone through the building process.

Facts: I am that mom who’s voice you can’t miss while cheering for the Boyne City Ramblers. Yes, I embarrass my kids a bit. Go Boyne!

Bucket List “To Do”: Backpack the entire Appalachian Trail

Objective: To help in the process of having our clients visions become a reality, and produce a unique, high-quality, one-of-a-kind home that will be enjoyed for many generations.

Experience: Combined total of 30+ years in the construction industry, starting in the field doing concrete work and framing. Obtained BS in Construction Management from Eastern Michigan University and from there worked as an estimator and materials purchaser before moving into a project management role. Have been a project manager for high-end custom homes for more than a decade.

Favorite Part of My Job: The very most satisfying part of my job would be seeing the smiling and excited faces of our clients when they first walk into their completed homes. I work with such a great team of people at WB Builders along with our subcontractors, and we share many laughs throughout the process which keeps the fun in what we do.

Hobbies: Most recent hobbies have been working on an addition and remodel to our family home that we purchased, as well as spending time with my family. When time allows to get outdoors, I enjoy whitetail deer hunting, fly-fishing for trout and steelhead, ice fishing, and morel mushroom hunting.

Bucket List “To Do”: I have previously been on a remote Alaskan moose hunt a few years ago, and was very close to having an opportunity to harvest a fantastic bull moose, but it didn’t quite pan out, so I would like to return and go on another remote hunt and harvest a bull. Another item is to draw a Michigan bull elk tag and have an opportunity to harvest a bull elk with archery equipment.
